45th Anniversary Tour
Hi People!
It’s so hard to believe that it’s been 45 years since the Eagles released my composition ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’ as a single on David Geffen’s Asylum Records.
I recall playing it for Glenn Frey at Jackson Browne’s house in Los Angeles, CA, back in the early 70s. Glenn mentioned that he had ‘a new band that was 8 days old that could work it up’… He thought it might really work for them. Of course, he was so right!
I’m proud that the Eagles have rallied on after the loss of their leader and friend Glenn Frey.  Glenn’s oldest son Deacon now handles vocal duties on two of my songs that the Eagles play at every show: ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’ and ‘Already Gone’. I wish them all the best on their 2018 Tour starting this month.  Special guests at stops along the way include Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown Band and The Doobie Brothers.
Next month, I’ll be taking my Peaceful Easy Feeling 45th Anniversary Tour on the road. First I return to Northern California, where I’ve not played since 2013. After that, I head to the Northwest in June with labelmate Cindy Alexander. Later in the year, several East coast dates with labelmate Keith Harkin will be announced.
Seats are going fast and shows have been selling out, so get your tickets soon.
For the four Bay Area shows, I’ve knocked out a fun :30 second improv song… See the short video below
You’ll also see interviews below that I recently had with ASCAP and No Depression, discussing my new album, 70s & 80s rock & roll history, and the role I played in it.
I hope to see you on my Peaceful Easy Feeling 45th Anniversary Tour…
Thanks Again People,
-Midnight Jack
