Contest Rules

 

The recording you make remains your property. The songs remain Jack’s. Any additions, beats, or changes made will not be considered co-writing. By entering you agree to allow Jack to use your name, likeness, and your entered audio and video in his podcast and for promotion across his social media platforms. All other rights remain yours.

 

Ways to Enter

REQUIRED

1. Send an audio or video of your cover performance to CoverMeContest@gmail.com

2. You must subscribe to Jack's Three Jack's Podcast to be officially entered.

Optional - Not Required: Post your video on social media platforms and add the tags listed:

Instagram - Tag person @JackTempchinOfficial and add #CoverMeContest in the body of your video post.

Facebook - Tag @JackTempchinOfficial and add #CoverMeContest in the body of your video post.

YouTube - Add #CoverMeContest and @JackTempchin to the title of your video.

Twitter - Add #CoverMeContest and @JackTempchin to the body of your video tweet.

Eligibility

 

No purchase is necessary to enter.

Enter as many times as you like.

Contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and Canada, 18 years of age or older.

Social media post entries must be timestamped by 11:59 PM PST on the contest closing date (January 20th, 2021) to be eligible.

Friends, family, and past co-writers of Jack Tempchin are not eligible to enter.

 

Judging

 

Jack will personally listen to every entry. He will score them on the basis of vocal performance, musical performance, and production quality. The choice of winner will be completely at his discretion.

 

Winning and Payout

 

On January 30th, the winner will be publicly announced on Jack’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. The winner will also be notified privately.

 

Winnings are taxable. The winner will be required to provide a completed IRS form W-9, and can expect to receive a form 1099 for tax year 2021 (in 2022). Payment can be made by PayPal, Venmo, or mailed check. To be eligible, the winner must provide payment details (preferred payment type, account or address, and their completed W-9 form) within 30 days of notification that they have won. After all payment details and forms are complete, payment will be made within 30 days.

 

In the event that the winner fails to respond or is found to be ineligible for any reason, the next highest scoring entry shall become the winner, and will have 30 days from notification to provide their W-9 form and payment information.

Opening date (first day for entries): December, 10th 2020

Closing date (last day for entries): January 20th, 2021

Winner announced: January 30th, 2021
